Letter from Caroline Elderfield -
I recently had a series of digital photographs transferred to canvas by Steve Evans at The Frame Shop, 91 Salvington Road, Durrington (next to the library). I cropped the images myself and submitted them on disk. They were then printed on canvas and treated with four coats of sealant. The results are currently on exhibition at The Coffee Shop in Worthing.
I was very pleased with the results but would remind anyone contemplating doing this that on-screen images are back-lit and a test print would be a good idea, as one of mine turned out darker than I had ianticipated.
Steve’s prices begin at £40 for a 12” x 12” canvas but AAT members will get a 20% discount.
